🧼 Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, ensuring all amenities are stocked, and providing a warm and courteous experience to every guest you encounter. Your contribution is vital in creating a relaxing, luxurious environment that exceeds expectations.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Collect assignment sheet and instructions from the Housekeeping Office at the start of each shift.
- Ensure your housekeeping trolley is fully stocked with amenities, linen, cleaning supplies, and minibar items.
- Follow instructions from Housekeeping Supervisor and attend team briefings.
- Clean and prepare rooms with a focus on hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort.
- Respect and note “Do Not Disturb” signs; report any discrepancies or safety concerns.
- Replace towels, linens, toiletries, and minibar items.
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms including tubs, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
- Check for and remove hair or stains; sanitize all touchpoints.
- Replace fresh flowers and clean vases as needed.
- Report maintenance issues or exposed guest valuables immediately.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and guest privacy protocols at all times.
- Greet guests in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Secure equipment and close the service area properly at the end of your shift.
- Handover important information to the next shift to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow company policies on key handling and room entry procedures.
🧾 What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping experience in a 5-star hotel is highly desirable.
- A service-focused personality and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
- Basic English speaking skills (Arabic or other languages a plus).
- Reliable, honest, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
✅ Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a hotel housekeeping or cleaning role.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and room standards.
