🎯 Position Summary

As our HR Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in delivering consistent, compliant, and people-focused HR support across our national operations. Reporting to the Office Manager and working closely with Area Operations Managers, this role covers the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding, compliance, data management, and recruitment assistance.

You will be the go-to person for HR documentation, process accuracy, and timely support that helps our teams perform at their best.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage employment agreements, job descriptions, onboarding documents, and offer letters
  • Conduct and coordinate new employee inductions and training records
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems
  • Process employment variations including pay, hours, or role changes
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle in the HRIS
  • Write job ads, liaise with recruitment agencies, and support interview scheduling
  • Assist with immigration and work visa compliance processes
  • Maintain and update internal HR policies and SOPs
  • Support performance and disciplinary processes with appropriate documentation
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Area Managers for consistent HR delivery
  • Contribute to HR-related initiatives and projects across the business
  • Promote a values-based culture and support team engagement activities

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in an HR administration or recruitment support role
  • Solid understanding of New Zealand employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR/ERP systems (e.g., Greentree, MYOB Advanced)
  • A formal qualification in HR or Business Administration is advantageous but not essential
