Job Summary
The Picker & Packer plays a vital role in Fresh Basket’s fulfillment operations. This position ensures that customer orders are accurately picked, quality-checked, and safely packed in accordance with set standards. You will work in rotational shifts and report to the Bakery or E-commerce Department Supervisor, ensuring timely order preparation and inventory support.
Picker and Packer Jobs in Saudi Arabia Key Responsibilities
- Pick products accurately from shelves based on customer or internal orders.
- Pack products neatly and securely into boxes or containers following safety protocols.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products are not damaged or expired.
- Label packages with the correct customer and shipping information.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the packing and storage areas.
- Operate basic packing and labeling equipment as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when items need replenishment.
- Report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries or stock as required.
- Maintain accurate records of packaged items and daily work logs.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations within the bakery/ecommerce workspace.
- Cooperate with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education: Matric (High School Diploma or Equivalent)
- Age: 18 to 25 years
- Previous experience in retail, packing, warehousing, or logistics is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, Odoo, or CIS software preferred.
- Ability to work in a 10-hour rotational shift.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods or lifting items up to 20 kg.
- Attention to detail, time management, and team spirit are essential.
