📝 Job Summary
As a Caregiver at Summerset’s Havelock North Village, you’ll be at the heart of our residents’ well-being. You’ll assist with personal care, daily activities, meal delivery, and emotional support. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for people, strong interpersonal skills, and the physical and emotional resilience to provide quality aged care.
🧭 Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids
- Deliver meals and assist residents with eating, where required
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of residents’ rooms and living areas
- Accurately record care provided and report any changes in health or behavior
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance
- Follow care plans and uphold Summerset’s high standards of care
- Comply with all health and safety, infection control, and workplace protocols
- Work effectively with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and individual rights at all times

- Prior aged care experience and/or a relevant care qualification preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and kind demeanor
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
