🛠️ Role Overview
As a Civil Engineer, you will supervise and coordinate the construction of major infrastructure works including roads, highways, bridges, and underpasses in Dubai. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with all applicable design standards and local regulations. You’ll also play a critical role in field inspections, contractor supervision, and project reporting.
🔧 Civil Engineer Jobs in Saudi Arabia Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction of bridges, roads, and underpasses, ensuring all works align with specifications and safety protocols.
- Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings, construction methods, and material submissions.
- Conduct field inspections and ensure high quality control and compliance with project scope.
- Maintain detailed documentation including daily site reports, inspection logs, and meeting records.
- Coordinate with surveyors, inspectors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and avoid project delays.
- Supervise inspectors and guide them on best practices and technical requirements.
- Review as-built drawings and collaborate on field verification.
- Monitor contractor progress against project schedules; recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Support the senior engineering team in developing innovative, efficient engineering solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with Dubai’s RTA standards, building codes, and environmental/safety regulations.
🎓 Civil Engineer Jobs in Saudi Arabia Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in civil construction supervision, especially roads and infrastructure
- Experience in Dubai or the UAE is highly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of bridge construction, underpasses, and urban infrastructure
- Proven leadership skills in project supervision and contractor coordination
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other civil engineering design software
- Familiarity with RTA procedures, local authority regulations, and approval processes
- Exceptional problem-solving, planning, and documentation abilities
- Fluent in English; strong communication and interpersonal skills
