Join our team at Big Loaf Pty Ltd as a Bakery Dishwasher/Cleaner and contribute to the smooth operation of our bustling bakery. This role will require availability Monday to Friday with approximately 2 to 4 shifts. This position is an immediate start!

Responsibilities:
– Washing and sanitising bakery equipment, utensils, and dishes according to standard operating procedures.
– Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of designated work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and wiping down surfaces.
– Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary products are readily available for use.
– Assisting with general bakery duties, such as packaging products, restocking shelves, and assisting bakers when required.
– Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment.
– Communicating effectively with team members, particularly bakers and supervisors, to ensure a smooth workflow within the bakery.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
– Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
– Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with other bakery staff.
– Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as our bakery operates seven days a week.
– Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods, as this role requires constant movement and lifting.
