📝 Job Summary
As a Cleaner at Taylormaid, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across assigned sites. This includes residential homes, commercial buildings, or specialized cleaning contracts. You’ll be expected to work independently and as part of a team, often traveling between job sites using your own vehicle. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors to a pristine finish
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces thoroughly
- Wash and disinfect kitchen and bathroom areas
- Clean appliances, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and tiles
- Change bedding and make beds in residential settings
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and baseboards as needed
- Remove trash and recycling, and replace liners
- Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies in good condition
- Follow WHMIS safety procedures for handling cleaning agents
- Notify supervisor of any maintenance issues or concerns
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time and to company standards
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills
- Secondary school diploma (or equivalent experience)
- WHMIS Certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
