Position Summary

As a Truck Driver at our Cobden site, you will be responsible for delivering livestock feed safely and punctually to clients across regional areas. You’ll be representing the Reid brand on the road, ensuring that farmers receive the critical supplies they depend on. This is a hands-on, full-time role offering stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to be part of a well-regarded team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Transport stockfeed safely to farms across VIC, SA, and NSW
  • Conduct pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and functionality
  • Load and unload goods in line with safety protocols and customer expectations
  • Adhere to all road and workplace safety regulations (OH&S)
  • Ensure accurate delivery documentation and customer communications
  • Communicate delivery progress or delays with dispatch and clients
  • Operate truck-mounted equipment safely (training provided if needed)
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Complete route logs and records as required
  • Assist with general yard duties as needed when not on deliveries
  • Participate in periodic safety and procedural training
  • Follow fatigue management and driving time regulations

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Licence (essential)
  • Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience preferred
  • Clean driving record (mandatory background check)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
  • High attention to detail and operational standards
  • Basic digital literacy (tablets or mobile dispatch systems)
  • Year 12 qualification preferred, but not required
